Ingredients:

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
Vegetable oil, for frying
Marinara sauce or other dipping sauce, for serving

Instructions:

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well combined.
Add the dry flour mixture to the milk and egg mixture, and stir until a thick batter forms.
Add the shredded cheese to the batter, and stir until the cheese is evenly coated.
Using a spoon or a cookie scoop, drop small portions of the cheese mixture into hot vegetable oil (350°F/175°C) for frying.
Fry the cheese balls until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally for even cooking, about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the cheese balls from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve the fried cheese balls hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.

Note: You can use any type of shredded cheese or combination of cheeses for this recipe, depending on your preference. You can also add additional seasonings or herbs to the batter for extra flavor. Be careful when working with hot oil and use caution to avoid burns. Enjoy your delicious fried cheese balls!
