Ingredients:
1 pound beef (sirloin, flank, or strip steak), thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup carrots, thinly sliced
1/2 cup snow peas
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to create a marinade.
Place the thinly sliced beef in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Toss to coat the beef evenly and let it marinate for about 15-30 minutes.
In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.
Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed, then add the bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snow peas. Stir-fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes, or until they are crisp-tender.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables, and stir-fry for another minute to combine.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the Beef Stir-Fry with Vegetables over cooked rice or noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
Note: You can customize the vegetables used in this recipe based on your preferences or what you have on hand. Other great options include mushrooms, zucchini, onions, or baby corn.
